The 20th Annual Maui Onion Festival was held at The Whalers Village in Lahaina today. The Maui Kula Onions took center stage with chef demonstrations, food booths, onion eating contests and wicked yummy onion rings... yumm mmm! Vendors from across Maui County were present to share their products and information with all that were interested. The Maui County Farm Bureau was stocked with fresh produce, Ali'i Kula Lavender's tent glistened with purple products of all kind, each infused with their specialty lavender grown on the cool slopes of Haleakala and restaurants from all over Maui incorporated the Kula Onion into unique dishes of all kind.
